RULES
- To not know the rules is not a good reason to break them
- Every match will be played under an official referee control. Without
an referee the match will NOT be played
- Before a match teams can use the JOLLY.
- The JOLLY is one and doubles the result of a game and must be used before
the chosen match starts
- This league is totally free, but there is a small gratifying prize: an interview for an important italian videogames magazine!!
CHEATS
- All programs or files, be they modified RTCW files or new files, that change
RTCW or add to its functionality, or that interact with RTCW in any way, are
strictly forbidden. To Use those programs will lead to a default loss. Every file
or program that does not directly interact with the game like Roger Wilco etc
may be used
MATCH
- Matches will be played every sunday, on the same map for all the teams
- Map will be chosen by the staff from the maplist, 1 week before the
match
- 2 rounds - stopwatch mode - will be played during the match. Rounds result will
determine winner and scores
- The results may be 2-0; 1-1; 1-0; 0-0
- The league staff has the right to decide if the tourney is going to have first and
second serie or only the first serie.
- The choice will be based on: sponsor availability, time and clans number
- A victory means 3 points, a tie 2 and a loss 0
- A loss leads to 1 point ONLY if the clan used the jolly
- Matches can be postponed by the referee due to real problems( for example
if 4 of 6 players have an high ping)
- A ping is high when it reachs 120 or higher, but it is always the referee to
decide if the ping is high
- When a match is postponed it will be played before monday or tuesday
- Matches may have a maximum of 15 minutes delay
- If a team won't show up in time to begin the match, the team will forfeit the match
- Teams may use 3 breaks during the match
- To change a player clans may use one of the tree breaks
- referee's decisions are unreversable
- During the game public chat is forbidden. Public chat may be used only by clanleaders to talk with the referee.
- Referee will be the via through whom 2 clanleaders can communicate with each other
- During a game teams may swap players at any moment. Every team has
unlimited player-swaps.
- Every single player-swap has to be performed only when the player to replace has disconnected
from the server
- The referee may pause the game every time he think it's necessary
IN GAME
- It's permitted to execute the command /kill without necessarily changing class
- It' permitted kill/revive with med
- It's forbidden to affront, insult anyone in the server --3 warnings--
- It's forbidden to argue with the referees --2 warnings--
- It's forbidden to use public chat during the match. Only clanleaders
may use it to communicate with the referee --1 warning--
- It is forbidden to kill the teammate carrying the gold beyond the iron gate to switch gold's possession wihtout turning around the tower on the map Village --match will be considered not valid; 1 warning--
- It's forbidden to lock the door on mp_assault from inside by the ally team --match will be considered not valid; 1 warning--
- Warnings can be official (which may turn to punishment) or unofficial (
A vocal warning) Referee will decide which kind of warning to issue
- Warnings must be issued after the match
- 3 official warnings lead to the detraction of 1 point from the Clan Overall Score in the league
- A mistake is always a mistake
- Warnings are cumulative. Referees must annotate all the official warnings and
report them to the staff who will change the results
TEAMS
- Matches are played 6 vs 6. If a team hasn't 6 players ready to play it may
play the game but with no LESS than 4 players. If a team has less than 4 players, the match
is forfeited
- If a team starts the match with more players then its foe (Ex: 6 vs 5; 6 vs 4), the clanleader may decide wheter to play with a full squad (6 players) or to use the same number of players of the opponent. Whichever the decision is, the team with less players, has to accept it no matter what. The standard match is played 6 vs 6, if you do not have the players is not anyone's fault, but yours.
- Only the players who registered in the league are allowed to play league games. Players may register at any time, and clans are free to change their roster as many times as they want to
COMPLAINTS
- If you need to file a complaint you must speak with one of the referee only after the end of the match. Do so on the irc channer #wolfcup, quakenet servers.
- Referee may decide if a match must be played over.
- Only clanleaders can file a complaint giving the referee all the means (screenshots, demos, etc) necessary to take a decision.
- Disputes will always be judged by league rules.
- These rules are gonna be the ones used from league's start to league's end. Once the league starts, these rules are not going to be changed.
